I’m not normally a Ken Follett fan. I don’t normally read thrillers or murder mysteries, but I was intrigued by this book because Oprah put it on her book club. I put in a request at the public library. I was number 300 on the list. I am a member of Book-of-the-Month Club. I saw they were offering the book. I had book credit, so I got it for free. I really enjoyed it. It is an historical novel set in the Middle Ages. It talks about how cathedrals were built. It talks about the lives our everyday folks. It is a long book, but it is worth it. It was a quick read despite being so long.
